Description
We are located only 15 minutes away from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport . There are several annual events to attend in Reno including: the Reno Rodeo in June, the month long "Artown" festival in July, Hot August Nights 1950's nostalgia celebration, and the National Championship Air Races and the Great Hot Air Balloon Races in September.
Reno is an excellent starting point for RV trips to Lake Tahoe, Mammoth Lakes , Yosemite National Park , Zion National Park , Las Vegas , the California Coast, Utah, Idaho , and Oregon .
Reno sits in the rain shadow of the Sierras. Winter has snowfall but typically it is light. Summer highs are generally in the low to mid 90s °F, but temperatures above 100 °F occur occasionally. July daytime and nighttime temperatures average 92 °F and 51 °F, respectively; while January day and night temperatures average 46 °F (7 °C) and 22 °F (-6 °C), respectively. Most precipitation occurs in winter and spring."
