High performance with little weight – this can only get achieved by Ferrari. The mid-engine sports car delivers 510 HP, which is only 20 HP more than the normal F430; but with 100 kg less on the scales it presents a class of its own. Having lots of power simply does not suffice for a sports car, since curcuit capable vehicles require having as little weight as possible.

The optical appeal of the Scuderia lies in modified aerodynamics by changed diffusors at the bottom, which makes for a better actuation – while being confronted with an identical air drag. A tad more obvious are the dark rallye-stripes reaching from the front hood to the rear end.

The lightweight is achieved by a slimmer interior and titanium rims. Looking at naked aluminium strings and carbon and dispensing with carpets conveys a genuine sporting atmosphere to the vehicle occupants,
which can only compare to the extreme runabout Enzo. The cockpit with its central rev counter issues the characteristic aesthetics of Ferrari.

The Scuderia ist not only a fest for the eyes, but also for the ears; it bellows in the idle, sings during acceleration, and rattles while the F1 circuit breaker shifts down. Thus every operating state shows off its own special sound setting.

With the optimal acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds this Ferrari is as good for the racing track as for everyday driving thanks to smooth rolling.
